I’m here at Lake Gregory for a church retreat which made me excited as the location is a completely different scene than what I’m used to.
It’s important for me to be in style but be comfortable at the same time. Here are some photos of my outfit which satisfies the need to be functional (it was pretty cold up there) and in fashion.

I believe owning classic purses is better than owning trendy ones as fashion frequently changes. Also, quality and durability are clearly different between the expensive and not-so expensive. As for Louis Vuitton, it being around since 1854 (158 years wow!) is truly representative of a classical purse brand. It makes a wonderful family heirloom as a friend of mine has owned an LV purse for 18 years until she decided to pass it on to her 18-year-old daughter. Her daughter is very content with it (who wouldn’t be?) It is also an investment piece with a high re-sale value as they will continue to increase in price. Why? Because, one, it is a work of art, two, it can be utilized, and, three, the supply is controlled. One is certainly enough as it can complement many outfits. Enjoy all things in life…but in moderation.
Spending the weekend here at Lake Gregory was certainly peaceful and calm. Nothing like fresh, clean air and the serenity of the lake to recharge my mind. Ladies, we all need some rest and relaxation all while enjoying life’s gifts.
