A couple of years ago, I was strolling down 5th Avenue for some after Christmas shopping and discovered the most brilliant over-the-top window display at Bergdorf Goodman! They were colorful and artistic; more like a gallery exhibit than a retail window. They were certainly inspirational therefore I had to come, check them out again, and share them with all of you.
A beautiful beaded Marchesa cocktail dress perfected with a feathered skirt is framed with the brimming swag of an ivory peacock.
A monumental black crow hovers behind a suit by Oscar de la Renta in a striking black-and-white skirt suit with stirring red suede boots.
Lastly, a creative display of an immaculate Vera Wang gown to finish these series of window dresses. This was a wonderful assembly of brands and items of superior quality in design and construction, combined with attentive, professional, friendly and respectful service. The windows at Bergdorf Goodman is truly a New York spectacle and a stunning passionate display of artistry.
I look forward to visiting again soon as they continue their well-known tradition of high fantasy, dramatic surprises, extraordinary fashion, and great storytelling.
Long Live Bergdorf Goodman!
