It was my first time cruising and I have some cruise packing tips to share that I learned from the vacation:
1. Know the dress codes! While packing all the bikinis, don’t forget to pack an outfit or two for formal nights.
2. Don’t assume your favorite toiletries will be in your cabin. Hotels are certainly more equipped.
3. Dress for your destination! Some destinations are more formal and trendier than others.
4. Save some room in your suitcase. There’s plenty of cute stuff to see and goodies to bring back home!
5. Mix and match! In order to save some room in the luggage, don’t be afraid to re-wear bottoms with different tops.
6. Keep all important documents with you. Never pack them in your checked luggage!
7. Remember the basics. Sunscreen, sunnies, batteries, extra memory card, emergency medicine if you’ve got motion sickness… all these help!
Most people like cruising for the cuisine as it’s free-flowing. I certainly had a happy tummy for a week! My favorite place inside though was definitely the spa. Nothing beats lounging around with an amazing view of the ocean! Cheers!
