It was a hot spring-summer day in LA when I noticed that my car registration is due and needed to get its smog check done. I really wasn’t looking forward to getting the smog checks done but… might as well make the most out of it. Since the weather is beautiful and clear, I wore a breezy top with a knitted shrug that I can easily take on and off. A little versatility never hurts anyone. ;)

While I was walking around the neighborhood of the auto shop, I started to have a craving for ice cream. But since I was to going to mass after this check up, I had to resist. It is a Catholic tradition to fast an hour before receiving communion. I decided to forget about the ice cream and looked forward to a lovely dinner instead (eating out after mass is another fun tradition)!

Soft florals are so fun to wear! The moment I see floral prints, I think Spring! I love the softness of this blouse and the nude coloring is so pretty. The romantic and feminine qualities are perfect for those long summer days (especially when I have to wait for the smog check to be completed…), this can also be paired with a pencil skirt for work (last time I did, one of my co-workers decided to buy it the next day!), or shorts for the beach (looking forward to that). For this outfit, wearing skinny jeans for my errand was a fast and easy decision.

To finish it off, I added a pair of nude heels! With Ferragamo Bow Pumps I can take this easily to a casual dinner after mass.
