Here we go! As promised… one of the places I got to indulge in. Shabu shabu, the Asian style fondue! Looking at these pictures again are making me crave for it.

Hot pot originated in northern China where cooking around a heating hot pot allowed family and friends to keep warm from the cold winter and rain. Shabu shabu, a kind of hotpot, originated in Japan. This place is a combination of both!

Each table comes equipped with an electric stove. It definitely got the job done in cooking all of our food quickly.
Start with a delicious broth (we tried the curry broth and the mongolian herb broth) throw in some greens, tofu, rice noodles, mushrooms, etc., to get the party started. Cook the beef one by one and dip into different kind of sauces.
