Our enthusiasm for swinging by Portugal for a weekend break was inspired by my husband and I’s delightful visit to Lisbon last fall.

Leisure incarnate, Tivoli Victoria spared no cost in their sprawling hotel complete with 4 amazing swimming pools.
I must admit, the pool is the very first thing I search for whenever I check-in to a resort. There’s just something so thrilling about a beautiful and exhilarating pool area that radiates total rest and relaxation.
They also have different kinds of lounge chairs and beds around the pool which makes me want to take a nap out there already. With panoramic views of Oceânico Victoria Golf Course, I couldn’t wait to explore the rest of the property.
I’ve heard about their phenomenal Spa by the Banyan Tree and I took a mental note to ensure this was the only thing I had planned for the following day.
Tivoli Victoria seems like the kind of place that makes you feel that you don’t want to leave. And guess what, I’ve only just checked in and this is only my first impression!
