Every Summer, I yearn to leave the busy and hectic office and escape to the beach’s warm breezy coastline weather. One of the places I often go to are the Ocean Trails Cliffs at Palos Verdes.  I find the area peaceful and calming. Near the cliffs is the Terranea Resort, which provided stunning ocean views. Being here, enjoying the view and weather, truly feels like a relaxing moment. I can just forget about everything!

I just love going to coastal cities in Socal!  It is so quaint and charming out here.  The community in the area is affluent and there are even horse trails too.

I noticed that the community is also visited often by runners, hikers, horseback riders, bird watchers, surfers, scuba divers, and bicyclists.  Of course, my friends who love to play golf like this area too as there are several golf courses and country clubs.

One of the amenities I love most about the resort are their ocean-view pools.  It is usually heated about 85 degress, which is the perfect temparture for a dip at any season!  In the property, I saw kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, horseback riders, and fire pits!  Luckily for me, the resort was even having a Summer afternoon jazz concert and barbeque by the cliff.  It truly felt like an escape since I can just lounge and enjoy the music.

There is a beautiful ocean view that can be enjoyed from so many places here and the ocean breeze feels refreshing and cool. It reminds me of the Sonoma coast. Last time I went to Palos Verdes, I spotted numerous dolphins and blue whales just hanging out nearby.  It was spectacular.

I thought the setting is really beautiful, with some walking trails that overlooks the rocky coast.

A spectacular venue isn’t it? Hiking and scenic vistas everywhere.

Ah… it’s a pity I can’t permanently enjoy this resort, but I’m glad I’m able to enjoy such beautiful escapes such as this. It’s important for us busy women to find the time to unwind, relax, and enjoy the view. Cheers!
