Introducing the LPD: Little Pink Dress

0

Pink is my favorite color!  It reminds me of my childhood bedroom where pink was everywhere. And so this week following my birthday, I decided to fuse the image of my youth with the woman I am now. The result?  Sophistication with a youthful energy!

So how do we incorporate more pink in our outfits? Well, we all have our little black dress (LBD) in our closet but on days that we are craving for a little more color and energy, don’t be afraid to incorporate some pink!  With spring coming up, this shade can go a big way.  One of the easiest and chicest ways to add pink to your wardrobe is with a little pink dress (LPD).  It is contemporary enough to make a woman feel young, but it also looks classic enough to make any woman look grown-up chic.

If you don’t want to go with an LPD, you can also add a feminine touch to your outfit by incorporating pink soft flowing frocks, ruffles, ribbons and rose details. In summary, pink is a great way to add delicate auras to your edgy ensemble.

I am happy I’ve invested on an LPD (Little Pink Dress) of my own.   This dress was something I scored at a Forever 21 sample sale 4 years ago for only $7!  I am amazed at how much fun recycling clothes can be.  The little rosette detail on my dress matches perfectly with my black rosette high-heeled platform shoes.

So instead of an LBD for your next outing, try out an LPD — a little pink dress screams so “spring”!

For me, the season has truly arrived!
