Fashionable Souvenirs

0

I love traveling. I enjoy purchasing souvenirs so that I can recall the fun memories.

My favorite souvenirs are those I am able to wear and use.  Here is an authentic ethnic dress I received as a souvenir gift.  It’s made in Davao, a southern city of the Philippines. As one may notice, island fashion contains many beautiful bright colors.

First, it has hues of tangerine.  As I’ve mentioned on an earlier post, Pantone named it 2012 color of the year.  Of course, I had to match it with adorable flip-flops from Tory Burch (major orange crush this season).  I usually pick up unique dresses, accessories & footwear when I travel.  You’ll be surprised how much money you’ll be able to save knowing authentic pieces are usually cheaper when purchased at their home country (my flower earrings purchased in Hawaii were only a dollar)!

Tory Burch Flip Flops

When traveling, buy native pieces from their local market, artist or crafters. They make extraordinary, enduring pieces of treasure as well as make fabulous souvenirs of your vacation!
