I spent a day exploring Dartmouth Castle in Devon, one of the most beautifully located fortresses in England.
My husband and I planned it packed full of adventures touring its passageways, climbing up the gun tower for breathtaking views of Dartmouth town, and enjoying a stunning coastal walk around the castle. The view from the top gave an amazing vantage point where we caught a glimpse of beautiful birds, flora and fauna. If time permits, I recommend doing a river boat ride from the town quay up to the castle. We saw people boating around the area and they looked like they were having fun. That would surely be a fascinating experience. Having the grandest day out, it surely made me realize even more the beauty of the British coast.
