Accented Simplicity

There are days when we get too busy that we don’t even have the time to artfully coordinate our outfits.  In moments like this, I turn to a simple solid colored outfit while accenting my outfit with jewelry.

In the past few decades, many jewelry metals appeared in the jewelry industry. An example of this is white gold. Among the jewelry enthusiasts, white gold is one of the most preferred metals.  It is because white gold looks more contemporary and modern.  Also, diamonds look better on white gold jewelry.

You may be fascinated about many questions related with white gold, for instance, what makes white gold white?  Yellow gold is turned white with the combination of yellow gold and, at least, one other metal.  Remember, even if it is white it is still gold.

Into the Blue

After finally slowing down from the hectic JCK Jewelry Show, I decided to wear a really comfortable t-shirt dress accented with a blazer.  It always looks great over a dress, especially a casual wrap or a shirt dress like the one I am wearing.  The weather these days have been amazing, clear blue skies and everything!

I must admit though, it was wonderful seeing all the clients and vendors that we work with again. Ah reminiscent times… Speaking of clear blues, I saw one of my favorite vendors where I bought this gorgeous 14k White Gold Blue Topaz ring a couple of years ago.
