I would like to start off the New Year celebration by sharing beautiful photographs of Southern Portugal’s handsome coastline here on the blog! It has truly been an incredible journey coming here for a three-day weekend with my husband.

Aside from being pampered day and night at the luxurious Tivoli Victoria, my husband and I have been enjoying the Algarve region of Portugal.
We spent our days exploring the hotel grounds, swimming, lounging, napping, reading, taking photos and just enjoying the brilliant moments.
We first came to Portugal a year ago and was completely smitten by the people, culture and food. What better way to relive all our wonderful experiences than by taking a city break from the U.K. and wandering off to new adventures along the Atlantic coast.
Their seaside is famous for the raw and natural beauty of its amber cliffs, windswept dunes, powdery sands and wild grottoes.
My favourite moment was stopping by Ponta da Piedade beach right here in Lagos for sunset. Truly one of the best sunset views of our lives. We couldn’t believe just how bright orange the sun can get. I just can’t pinch myself hard enough!

I can only imagine how beautiful this beach would be all summer long.
