About Me Updated

0

Hello everyone!

As I continue to grow as a blogger, some things have to change so here are some updates!  I’ve put up my Facebook Page (add me here) and Pinterest (follow me here) too!

There are also some updates on the “About Me” page. This should shed more light as to what this fashion blog is about. =)

Stepping into the beautiful world of grown-up style.

StyleAt30.  I’m transitioning to a new phase in my life, so my clothes should also follow suit.  This blog documents my experience in building a wardrobe of outfits that look young & fresh while keeping it chic & sophisticated.  More importantly, I’m hoping that my struggles during this challenging transition will help other women in their transition period — we do want to look fabulous at all times right? *wink*

So, what’s a 30-something girl to do?  Simple — step into the beautiful world of grown-up style.

So who am I?  I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in communication arts, with a concentration on print and broadcast journalism.  In college, my thesis was to develop a website.  Although I’ve never blogged before, I found that it was second nature to me. I started this blog to document the changes in my life.  In my twenties, I went to clubs while donning the latest party dresses and high heels.  Now I wear such party clothes less and less.  Thus, my wardrobe was slowly changing as my lifestyle changes.

As passionate as I am in regards to style, my greatest passion is my faith. You will be seeing some faith related tidbits in my blog posts.  I think the true beauty and confidence of a woman comes from the inside.  And from there, she is nourished by her faith in God, her relationship with Him, and how well she shares God’s gifts.

I welcome everyone to grow with me, as we talk about style tips, shoes, handbags, and, my favorite, jewelry.

Feel free to post comments and e-mail me (StyleAt30@gmail.com) if you have any suggestions or concerns. I’d love to have conversations about fashion so please don’t be shy! I hope and pray that not only will I grow from this experience  but we will grow together as we make the most out of these fun and exciting phases of life!
